Purchase terms
A clear explanation of the upcoming Daybind Pro purchase and trial. Pro is in preparation and is not yet available in the published Mac App Store version.
Free and Pro
The upcoming Free plan includes daily notes, ordinary tasks, tags and routines. Pro adds project creation and editing, carry-forward tasks and CLI access. The Pro page describes these features.
One purchase for Mac
The planned US price is $29.99 as a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase. The local price and applicable taxes shown by Apple before confirmation determine what you pay. Pro is not an auto-renewing subscription. The purchase unlocks the listed Pro features in Daybind for Mac; it does not include third-party AI services or promise features on other platforms.
The free 30-day trial
The trial starts only when you choose to activate the free “30-day Trial” in the app and confirm it with the App Store. It lasts 30 days from activation and is available once per Apple Account. Restoring the trial does not reset its end date. There is no automatic charge at the end; buying Pro is a separate choice.
When the trial ends, CLI access and automatic task carry-forward stop. Projects become read-only. Your existing content remains readable and exportable, and you can continue to use Free features.
Payments and restoration
Apple processes payments through your Apple Account. Daybind does not collect your card details. On another Mac, sign in to the same Apple Account and choose Settings → Daybind Pro → Restore purchases.
Refunds
For purchases billed by Apple, use Apple’s refund request process. Eligibility depends on Apple’s policies and applicable consumer law. An approved refund or revoked purchase can remove Pro access. It does not delete your notes.
App licence and your rights
Daybind is distributed under the licence displayed on its App Store listing. Where no custom licence is provided, Apple’s Standard EULA applies. This page explains purchasing and does not replace that licence or limit your statutory consumer rights.
