Daybind Support

Daybind is a quiet daily journal for Mac — notes, tasks, routines, and tagged thoughts on one page. If something feels off, this page is the fastest way to get it sorted.

Backup and restore

Daybind is local-first. Before installing updates, create a backup from the app settings.

To restore, use the restore action in the app and choose a Daybind backup file. After restoring, quit and reopen Daybind to confirm your data is still there.

If you think data is missing Stop editing right away, create a backup if you can, and contact support with details. If you already have a recent backup file, keep it unchanged until we reply.

Uninstall

Move the Daybind app to the Trash. Your local data lives in the macOS Application Support folder for Daybind; remove that folder if you also want to delete your local journals.
